What this site collects, and the fine print
Plain-language version of what you're agreeing to just by reading a website.
The short version
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, or JavaScript-based trackers of any kind. Personal data comes from two places: what you choose to type into the contact form, and the standard server access log (IP address, page requested, timestamp) that our web host keeps automatically for every visit, the same as it would for any site it hosts.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, topic, and message you enter are submitted directly to Formspree (opens in new tab), a third-party form-processing service, which forwards it to us by email. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else — not marketing, not a mailing list, not resale. Formspree's own handling of that data is governed by their privacy policy (opens in new tab), not ours; we don't control their servers.
If you don't use the form, nothing about you is collected. Just browsing the site doesn't submit anything anywhere.
Google Fonts
This site loads its typefaces from Google's font servers rather than hosting them locally. That means your browser makes a direct request to Google when a page loads, which exposes your IP address to Google the same way any request to any server would. Google's stated policy is that it doesn't use this to build ad profiles, but it's still a data transfer to a third party that happens automatically, without asking first — which is exactly why we're disclosing it here rather than assuming it doesn't count.
What we don't do
- No cookies.
- No analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no equivalent) — the raw server log above is the one exception, and it's disclosed above.
- No advertising, and nothing here is monetized.
- No selling, renting, or sharing data with anyone beyond what's described above.
- No accounts, logins, or user profiles — there's nothing to create one for.
Server logs
Like effectively every website, the hosting this site runs on automatically keeps a standard server access log of visits — IP address, the URL requested, a timestamp, response size, referring URL, and browser/user-agent string. That's not something we added; it's the host's default behavior, kept for troubleshooting and abuse/security monitoring. We don't run analytics on top of it, cross-reference it with anything else, or use it to identify individual visitors.
Terms of useThe short version
This is an advocacy case, built as carefully and honestly as we know how — not professional advice. Read it, check the sources and make your own call. Using this site means accepting that it's one perspective, offered in good faith, not a guarantee of anything.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or professional advice, regardless of how confidently any given page argues its case. It can't examine anyone, address an individual situation, or substitute for a conversation with a qualified, unbiased professional. Where the site touches on medical claims specifically, that's covered again in the disclaimer at the bottom of every page.
No warranty
We try hard to get things right — that's the entire point of citing sources rather than just asserting claims — but we can't promise every page is current, complete, or free of mistakes. Studies get reinterpreted, positions change, links break. If a specific fact matters to a decision you're making, follow the citation to the primary source rather than taking our summary of it as final.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, The Case to Wait and whoever maintains this site aren't liable for damages, losses, or decisions arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site's content. You're responsible for how you use the information here.
Links to other sites
This site links out to studies, news coverage, and outside organizations we don't control and haven't vetted in full. A link isn't an endorsement of everything a source says elsewhere — organizations and websites change after we link to them, which is true of the groups listed on Beyond This Site just as much as anywhere else.
Using this site's material
The printable flyer and brochure exist specifically to be printed and handed to someone — go ahead, no permission needed. For anything else on the site, a link back is appreciated if you're quoting or adapting it at length.
